Meal Plans and Dining Dollars

Let us do the cooking for you! Your University ID card is your access to your dining meal plan. Featuring nine meal plans to undergraduate and graduate students based on your housing. First Year Students are required to participate in one of the Category IA or Category I Meal Plans. A student who resides in a traditional Residence Hall, as well as Brodhead and Trembley Park Suite Singles are required to select a meal plan in Category I or Category II plan. 

Upperclassman students living in residence halls are required to participate in one of the Category I or Category II Meal Plans. Category II is the minimum requirement of all Upper class students living in University Housing, except apartments. Meal plans in Category IA, Category I and Category II include 5 guest passes to redeem in Brodhead, Cort at Lower UC, or Rathbone. Guest passes are great to treat a friend to lunch, a parent visiting for the day, or a mentor. 

A cashier at any dining location can assist you with the meals and dining dollar balance on your account. 

Meal Plans may be changed within the meal plan requirements through the tenth day of class each semester. To fill out a petition to reduce or be exempt from your meal plan, please fill out this form.

Category IA 

The Carte Blanche
Unlimited board meals at Rathbone, Brodhead, and the Cort @ Lower UC. 7 Retail Meal Credits per week. $100 Dining Dollars. Designed for athletes and big eaters to maximize the value of your meal plan!

Category I 

NEW for Fall 2017! 19 Meal Plan: 19 meals per week and $50 Dining Dollars*

Improved with 19 Meal Plan is the ability to use any 19 meals per week allowing multiple meals per meal period

225 Block Plan: 225 meals per semester and $50 Dining Dollars

200 Block Plan: 200 meals per semester and $150 Dining Dollars

Category II

150 Block Plan: 150 meals per semester and $150 Dining Dollars

NEW for Fall 2017! 125 Block and $250.00 Dining Dollars

Category III

75 Block Plan:75 meals per semester and $250 Dining Dollars

Category IV 

50 Block Plan:50 meals per semester and $250 Dining Dollars

Category V  

25 Block Plan: 25 meals per semester and $25 Dining Dollars

Category VI 

$350 Dining Dollar Plan: $350 Dining Dollars per semester. Receive a 20% bonus with every purchase of additional Dining Dollars with this account.


Five Guest Passes are included with the Following Meal Plans: Carte Blanche, 19, 225, 200, 150 and 125.

*The weekly 19 Meal Plan runs from Friday (Breakfast) to Thursday (Dinner).

Here is how you can sign up for a meal plan.

3. Log In using your Lehigh username and password 
4. Select Meal Plans from the top Menu bar 
5. Highlight Select/Change Meal Plan 
6. Select the Term and submit 


ADD DINING DOLLARS TO YOUR MEAL PLAN
It's easy! Just call the Dining Dollars office at 610.758.6179 or visit Housing and Dining Self Service link here: go.lehigh.edu/housing > Select Housing and Dining Self Service > Log In using your Lehigh username and password 

If you add Dining Dollars the first TEN days of class, you receive a 20% bonus!
If you add Dining Dollars after the first ten days of class, you will receive a 10% bonus!

The $350.00 Dining Dollars Plan receives a 20% bonus with any additional purchase of dining dollars all year!

Lehigh Personal Charge Account
Faculty and Staff also have the option of creating a Personal Charge Account. This account is accessed through your Lehigh ID and can be used at ALL Lehigh Dining locations. When you check out at one of the Lehigh Dining location just swipe your Lehigh ID. Once a month the amount you spent will be taken out of your Lehigh paycheck. This account is easy and convenient and you don't need to remember to carry cash or a credit card around campus! How Your Meal Plan Works - check out this chart to help navigate how your meal plan works. 

Use your Lehigh University ID card at specific Dining Services locations to access your meal plan. There are three components to your meal plan to provide the maximum in flexibility and convenience:   

Meal - All You Can Eat is available in three areas: University Center Cort Dining Room, Rathbone Dining Room, and Brodhead Dining Room. (Brodhead Dining Room is available to residents and guests only). All three locations offer All You Can Eat during each meal period. All Plans are designed for one meal swipe by the plan holder per visit. However, Carte Blanche and Block Plans will allow for multiple visits during the same meal period. Meal period is breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Meals To-Go - Meal plan participants have the convenient option to get their meal to-go if they are in a hurry. They can take part in Dining Services new Eco-Takeout program simply by requesting to do so at any of the following student restaurants: The Cort @ Lower U.C., and Rathbone. Dining Dollars - This declining balance account can be used exclusively at all Lehigh University Dining locations. Dining Dollars are non refundable, nontransferable, and will carry over from Fall semester to Spring semester only. (This is the only option in a Category V plan.)
Meal Credits - When you purchase a meal plan, you have the added benefit of meal credits that you can use at a variety of retail locations across campus. 

How Does It Work? A Meal Credit is a cash value applied to your food purchases at retail locations on campus for those times when you don't eat in Rathbone, Cort @ Lower UC and Brodhead. This increases the flexibility of your meal plan. In exchange for a regular meal swipe you receive a credit toward the total cost of your retail purchase. The balance of your purchase can be paid with Gold Plus, Dining Dollars or cash. 

There are some restrictions depending on meal plan selection. Please refer to the description of each plan for details. 

Meal Credit Amounts:  Breakfast $3.50; Lunch & Dinner $4.50

Breakfast.......................7:00 a.m. - 10:29 a.m.

Lunch............................10:30 a.m. - 4:29 p.m.

Dinner...........................4:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday

 Special Dinner: $14.00

  • Please bus your disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable.  Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
